Hii, students. I hope everyone is working hard to score very good marks in their upcoming exams. After 12th many students become very confused regarding choosing their further subjects, it is clear for few students but the left students have no clear vision on taking subjects. Me myself diverted from Maths stream to Arts and I had really very bad difficulty in my mind while choosing subjects.

Look, choosing subject or selecting subject is not that much difficult but the situation become more complex when you don't find the particular and useful resources in that subject.

This is seriously a big problem. When I choose Economics, English Literature and History as my subjects. It was a good choice but you can't find the all the topics in one book and you can't buy 10 books only for 1 subject. So, one should visit often in Library which at least have last 2nd edition of the book.

Now, I am in my final year of my Graduation.

So with my experience I would like to share those books which I think you must read and start considering if you are choosing Economics subject in your graduation:

In 1st year you'll study the following subjects:

You'll have 2 subjects:

1. Microeconomic Theory

2. Indian Economy

for paper-1, you can have book of ADVANCED ECONOMIC THEORY Microeconomic Analysis of H.L.Ahuja (S. Chand Higher Academic Publication).

The book of H.L. Ahuja is easy to understand and readable only when you start reading from beginning

I had 21e, I have no idea on latest edition. You can check on nearby your book streets and one more thing if you guys have no interest on buying the book, few book seller give options of rent on book, you can check it out too.

And if you are from Hindi Medium then you can have book of Author : LakshmiNarayan Nathuramka ka vyashti arthshastra

for paper-2, you can have book of INDIAN ECONOMY by Gaurav Dutt and Ashwani Mahajan (S. Chand Publication)

2.1  Indian Economy (Hindi & English) - Rudra Datta and K.P.M. Sundaram (S. Chand Publication).

2.2 Indian Economy (English) - S.K. Mishra & V.K. Puri (Himalaya Publishing House)

and few internet websites, Economic Discussion

In 2nd year you'll study the following subjects:

1. Macroeconomics

for Macroeconomics: you can consider the book Macroeconomic Book of T.R. Jain

that book is truly helpful in this subject. The language is so easy to understand and the material is more than enough.

and you have Internet Sources too.

2. You'll have 2 subjects as a option you have to choose from them:

Economic Thoughts and Application of Mathematics

I took Economic Thoughts. I don't have any idea related to this book, maybe I'll do some research on it and then tell you guys about the books of this subject.

But if anyone do study mostly from Internet sources they can search topics on google or bing for results, this is how I did.

In 2020, I had to give exam but due to Covid-19 pandemic, we all promoted to final year. So, I have no experience in exam of this paper, yet surely try to give the most important that has been asked by the Rajasthan University.

For 3rd year you'll study the following subjects:

In 3rd year of graduation, you'll study the subjects:

1. Introduction to International Trade, Growth and Development and Public Finance

The book is combine subject of 3 International trade, growth and development and public finance.

For International Trade: Book 'International Trade' by M.L. Jhingan (Vrinda Publications)

For Growth and Development: Book of Pearson Publication you can prefer, it is best if you can grab resources from Internet sources. That'll be best. Because only major questions asked from this subject.

For Public Finance: Book 'Public Finance' by H.L. Bhatia (Vikas Publications)

and also you can find sample pages of this book on Google Books.

2. you'll get 3 options of Application of Mathematics or Economy Of Rajasthan or Environmental Economics

So I choose Economy of Rajasthan and for this you can take Book of 'Economy of Rajasthan' by Lakshminarayan Nathuramka (R.B.D. publications)

Note:--- The point that you have to note is that the subject economics is very analytical, the student have to be practical in case you have some interest in Economics.

One should have notes on basic topics because the subject revolve around it.
